It was cold and snowy when I started out this morning, but started to clear out by noon, and was sunny by the end of the day, but the high only got to 32. I had an interview with CBS Knoxville (<---Click!) and nearly froze to death while giving the interview, it’s amazing how warm I get when I got my gear on and am moving. The scenery was gorgeous, the trees on top of the mountain were covered in ice and when the sun did come out, it made them sparkle and shine. Even with all the traffic, seeing them glow made the world seem to stand still, even if it was for just a moment.
When I got to the top, there was a restaurant, so I thought I would stop in and see what they had. The owner was there, her is Krystal, and she immediately got me a cup of hot chocolate, and heated up some chili for me. We talked for a bit, and she told me about her cabins, they are awesome! Set on the edge of the outlook, they have the most amazing view of the lake valley down below, not to mention, they are just the perfect little get away with comfy beds, and a Jacuzzi. So excited I get to sleep in one tomorrow night!
I ended my day in Bean Station where EMS 1 came and picked me up, took me to get some food, and then took me back to the station, which turns out to be a house. They had to leave for a call while I was in the shower, and unfortunately their internet was down. So I worked on my blog on Microsoft, and watched some TV.
