I slept great last night. The family was up and in their Sunday best. I had some coffee and chatted until breakfast was ready.
Breakfast was served at 7:30 and we had hardish-soft boiled eggs, bread, sausage, avocado, and milk. I ate all the sausage on the table that the other girls didn't want, and the avocado too. Dona packed me a huge lunch in a nice little lunch bag and her and Lisa dropped me back off in Airway Heights and I began my 20 mile day into Spokane.
I wish I would have talked to Shane and Jeana about what route to take through town, because Google put me right through the ugliest, most boring part of Spokane. Very industrial, and bland. But at least the roads were quiet and there no lights to slow me down. Nothing too special to report except the good part of the day was tat I had two TV interviews! KREM2 and KHQ6. Super awesome!
KHQ interview
KREM2 interview
I got picked up by Melinda and stayed with her and her husband and two super cute dogs. She fed me pork chops and potatoes and I took a really nice, long dip in their hot tub. We watched my interviews which was so weird to see myself on TV... and we sat outside over looking their beautiful view of the hills as the sun set. It was a nice, relaxing evening. Juts what I needed.
