Today was another quick day, and I walked into Indiana! As of today, I have walked 2,505 miles! Crazy? Yes, I would say so. I look forward to the day that someone asks me what I did back in my 20's and I'll be able to say "Well, I've been to 35 countries on 6 continents, I've swam with great white sharks in South Africa, jumped out of a perfectly good airplane in New Zealand, and biked down the world's most dangerous road in Bolivia, oh, and I walked 3,800 miles across The United States of America for an amazing organization that benefits kids with cancer called Beads of Courage."
Feeling pretty high tonight, and I didn't need any drugs to get me here.
I took a small country road that paralleled the highway for most of the day and got on to highway 24, for about 5 miles, and was excited that I would be on a road that would have a State sign, but it looked like something must have hit it. Bummer. Hence the picture with "Lincoln's boyhood home".
Not a whole lot to report today. It was absolutely beautiful out. Only got up to 50, but it was sunny and not too windy. Had Subway for dinner, and got an upgrade at my hotel, so I have a Jacuzzi tub! Tomorrow I walk into the eastern time zone, so time changes again for me.
