Today was a 22 mile day. I was excited for today because I knew I was going to be staying at a B&B on the lake just outside of town. It's called The Lighthouse Lodge.
I stayed on the country roads again, and didn't get stopped much, except for a very sweet man who gave me his card, and offered to help however he could. It was cloudy out again, but not too bad. I got into town around 3:45 and Lori picked me up and showed me a round town a bit and took me to meet the mayor, before heading out the dinner where I met few other really wonder people that work for the city and had a really nice dinner and told a bunch of my stories. She took me to the lodge around 6:30 and I loved it, just beautiful, and I stayed up talking to a good friend from back home, who I haven't spoken to since August, so that was pretty awesome. I sat outside and listen to the water and watched the stars, and a few shooting stars while we chatted and got caught back up.
For such a boring day, it turned into a wonderful, wonderful evening, thank you to everyone for making me feel so welcomed in your community!
