It was cold, but felt good, probably only got up to 50. I had BMW all day, and got a few donations. Had 3 people stop me for directions! I just don't get it. I have a big sign that says: WALK ACROSS AMERICA, and yet, people think I know where I am? Or where everything is? I guess the funniest part, is that 99% of the time, I do. Yesterday was the first time I couldn't help someone find what they were looking for, he named some house, and I had no clue what he was talking about. But he got pretty excited when I told him I was walking across America, and gave me $1.
I got into Naperville around 5, and was at the Ace hardware where I was meeting Linda at 5:30. She was stuck in traffic for another 20 minutes, so I just parked out front of the store, and got a few more donations. She came and picked me up, and we went and found a restaurant and ate soup and salad before heading back to where she lives in Evanston. We got home around 9, and I showered and went straight to bed. And now time for a much needed 6 day break!
***I will be taking some time off from the 22-27 in the Chicago area. I will be visiting Lurie Hospital on Thursday at 10 am***
