Started out of Fairmont this morning and walked 20 miles into Blue Earth. It was super windy but the weather was cool. Had a few people stop who saw me in the paper, and I got a text from Andrea! She is going to stop by and drop off some ear muffs and we are going to have a little picnic on the road side! So cute! She brought tea and some cookies, and I ate my sandwich that Dusty made for me this morning. what a nice surprise!
I stopped in the bar across the street from where I met Andrea, and asked if they had a newspaper because I wanted to read the interview. I love it when people recognize me, but don't say anything right away. Only when I asked for the paper did anyone say anything about me being the woman on the front page. haha
After my lunch with Andrea, I continued on into the wind, and listened to some books I have. Dusty met me a few miles outside of town and picked up BMW for me. Thank goodness because the wind was really getting bad. I also had a radio interview this evening. I will put that up as soon as they get it online. I also had a phone interview with the paper in Albert Lea which goes out tomorrow, which is great since I will be walking through in a few days.
That's about it for now... Gotta work on routes for when I get out of Albert Lea. No idea which way I'm going.... ugh.
