After that I went back to Holiday Inn and got packed up and ready to walk my half day down to Rose Creek, MN. It took about two hours to walk through town. A lot of people stopped to talk and I had lunch bought for me at Subway. The wind was horrendous today, and slowed me down quite a bit. But it still went by quickly. Right before my Uncle Harry came to pick me up, I was on the phone and trying to push BMW up and over a lip in the road, and a strong (40 MPG) gust of wind came, and knocked BMW to the ground! Poor thing! I couldn't get her up by myself, because the wind was too strong, and it was too awkward. So I waved a man in a passing car down, and he was kind enough to help me lift her back up. A few minutes later, my Uncle came and we drove up to Rochester where I would be staying with Sue and her daughter, and Sue's parents.
I said goodbye to my Uncle, and ate some pizza with the family, and chit chatted for a bit before going to bed and doing some net working to try and find places to stay in Iowa, in which I succeeded!
